"Gloria Salazar, M.D., FSIR FCIRSE is certified by the American Board of Radiology/Vascular and Interventional Radiology. A specialist in embolization and venous interventional procedures, her clinical interests include endovascular interventions, superficial/deep venous disease, pelvic venous disorders, and vascular malformations. She became a driving force for women's health as past chair of the Society of Interventional Radiology Women’s Health Council and promotes Women’s Health throughout the world. She routinely speaks at international conferences and continues to author numerous publications, allowing for the further development of the field of Interventional Radiology. She is currently the Vice Chair of Development and Engagement of the Radiology Department at the University of North Carolina. “
