Dr. Paola Ortiz is a physician from Uruguay graduated in 2002. After completing the USMLE Exam in the United States she gained her ECFMG certification and in 2006 she undertook training in Venous disease and Ultrasound examination at the Naples Cardiac and Endovascular Center.She later undertook further training at both the Miami and NYU Langdon vein center.In 2022 she successfully completed a Postgraduate degree course in Vascular Surgery in Argentina,in 2023 she successfully completed a Master in Phlebology at The Spanish Chapter of Phlebology of the Spanish Society of Vascular Surgery,
Dr. Ortiz has more than 20 years experience in venous treatments and is a member of the vascular department of Pasteur Hospital where she works as vein specialist.In addition she has been an active member of the Naples Medical Educational Center faculty since 2017 where she offers hands-on activities in Central America, and Naples, Florida U.S.A. In 2012 she founded a private vein clinic in Uruguay and is currently co-director and physician.
Dr. Ortiz joined The Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation of Wisconsin in 2014,This Foundation offer Service and Learning vein activities sponsored by the University of Wisconsin, she is currently member of the Board of Directors, she is member of the faculty staff of the Foundation and Medical Director at La Ceiba site, Honduras since 2017.
She is member of the AVF, AVLS.
