I am a vascular surgeon, currently work as Director of Aortic Surgery at Northwell Health Central Region. I also oversee the Limb Preservation Program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. I also serve as Associate Professor of Surgery at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. My area of research is focused at aortic pathology including aortic dissection and aneurysm, arterial and venous insufficiency, and critical limb ischemia. I have a great interest in educating new trainees and future vascular specialists to success in their academic and clinical career paths. I truly believe that in vascular space, there is a need for collaboration between multiple specialties to tackle the hard task of managing this challenging patient population.
